Taxes are surprisingly low in Tennessee, due largely to the fact that there is no state income tax. Property taxes in Tellico Village are either $1.80 (Loudon County) or $1.81 (Monroe County) per $100 of assessed value, and taxes are assessed at 25% of appraised value.
